Lydia & her badass assistant, Sarah, will guide you through poses to help bring out your inner beauty and make it shine. Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s magic.

We’ll create an unforgettable experience for your session and show you in your best light. Our photography highlights the beauty of the surrounding landscapes with your personality shining through in each image. We’ll get all those money shots that’ll have you falling in love with yourself over and over again.

We’re here to guide you through each step of the process. Whether selecting your Pinterest mood-board aesthetic, prepping for the shoot, finding flattering lingerie, ordering prints, gallery wall displays, and our one-of-a-kind keepsake boxes— we’ll ensure your photography experience is comfortable and carefree! You deserve to hold these memories forever in your hearts and in your hands.

From the very beginning, Lydia and Sarah McNick were a dream to work with. They listened to my vision and then exceeded it beyond my wildest dreams. Planning sessions, preparation tips, styling contacts, props, little detailed touches, personalized location scouting, and total one-on-one care and attention are what you will receive from these people, and then some! Every part of this experience from start to finish was magical — and I felt like a rockstar the entire day of the photoshoot (and long after)! They were so professional, encouraging, and really went above and beyond and beyond and beyond in every way you can imagine.

Even if I did not receive the photos, the experience I had making them was worth every penny. It’s a bonus that I get to relive it with the beautiful album and mind-blowing photos whenever I want because it all still feels like a dream.

And the photos…. Well, they are perfection within a digital frame. All of them! I could not be happier and never could have imagined they would be so incredible. Lydia is extremely talented. So talented. PERIOD.

Lydia and Sarah made me so comfortable in my body.

Doing a boudoir shoot is absolutely out of my comfort zone. Lydia and Sarah made me so comfortable in my body, helping teach me how to pose, guiding me thrive the right facial expressions. There were different locations around the barn, outfits changes and a variety of props to play with. We also had so much fun, laughing, cracking jokes between the sexy face-making. I don’t often take time to doll myself up and appreciate my figure, these power ladies helped me feel right at home in a completely non judgemental environment. And the final product was something to celebrate too. She really captured me, my personality and quirks in the photos.

Lydia and T did the most majestic boudoir shoot with me in the mountains of Crested Butte.

They picked the most fairytale time of day (dawn) and boy did the lighting pay off. The two brought me to multiple locations and model coached me, lit me, and made me look unearthly with gorgeous “honey hole” backdrops they hand-picked for me. Their professionalism, fun attitudes, commitment to art, and celebration of ME was an experience I have never had with another photographer. Lydia then spent personal time with me going through every single photo to find the good ones, adding her artistic eye to my pedestrian one, and delivered perfectly edited finished products in formats for both print and online media. I cannot recommend these two enough. They’re the best photography team in Crested Butte. Bar None. THANK YOU BOTH for my glow up!!

It is so hard even to begin thinking about how I can possibly describe the life-altering experience I had working with Mountain Magic Media.

I have always admired Lydia’s photos since I followed her on social media and knew that I wanted to do a session with her. It wasn’t until I was 6 months sober from alcohol and turning 30 that I decided I needed to celebrate myself in the most special way possible — with a boudoir session in the mountains! If you have watched Schitt’s Creek, I was inspired by Moira’s Nudes episode when she tells Stevie to celebrate her body. If you don’t watch Schitt’s Creek, disregard that sentence and this one too. I really wanted to capture and celebrate my resilient body and the new life I started making for myself. I always wanted to feel like a model for a day and decided that maybe I could make a little dream a really big reality! I contacted Lydia many months out with this idea and wasn’t totally sure I was going to go through with it! (Because oh geez – posing mostly naked in front of some people seems a bit awkward?) But man, I am so glad I did! And turns out there were never any awkward moments!
