We’ll tag along for the ride and show you in your best light. Our photography highlights the beauty of the surrounding landscapes with your personality shining through in each image. We’ll get all those money shots that tell your love story.

We’re here to guide you through each step of the process. Whether selecting your wedding venue, prepping for the shoot, ordering prints, gallery wall displays, and our one-of-a-kind keepsake boxes— we’ll ensure your photography experience is comfortable and carefree! The ultimate adventure:

our love story

The classic love story, guy walks into a bar on Ladies Night. It was pretty much love at first sight. Even though we weren't able to be together at first, and even though our pups weren't immediately friends, we knew it would be something special.

We spent our first holiday season together decorating with both of our families decorating a Christmas tree & lighting the Hanukkah menorah. We made powder turns at the ski resort, sipped tea and cocktails, baked cookies, and completed jigsaw puzzles all week long. Quality family time is how we spend every holiday season!

We put a lot of sweat, tears, and love into our first home. Lucky for us, T is a skilled craftsman and completely transformed this Riverbend condo from drab to fab! We always take advantage of an opportunity to stargaze from our hot tub.

Our first year together put our relationship to the test, and we can easily say that we fell more in love with each other through all the challenges. We decided to seal our intentions with a ceremonial handfasting ritual during the local Vinotok community feast. The tradition is to commit to each other for a year and a day.

Mt. Emmons aka Red Lady mountain has been threatened by molybdenum mining efforts since the 80's. Each year the community chooses a Red Lady to embody Mt. Emmons. In March 2017, the honor was bestowed upon Lydia to join the sisterhod, become the spokesperson, and serve as the 40th Red Lady. It has become a yearly tradition to ski her slopes, adorned in red, raising awareness and fundraising for the Red Lady Ball.

After 2 years of T learning the ropes and assisting Lydia as an associate photographer with Sweet Tea Studios, we decided to join forces as business partners. We feel so blessed to pursue our passions together as Mountain Magic Media.

We went on a surf vacation and T surprised Lydia with an engagement ring. She laughed, she cried, and then said "duh."

In late 2018/early 2019, we decided to embark on a pretty wild ride adventure with our bestie, Julia. We bought into a 1969 Land Yacht Airstream trailer with plans to turn it into a mobile bar and lounge. It is still under construction, and it's truly a labor of love, but we're making progress on making these dreams into a reality!

Around the same time that Lydia & T started dating, Lydia's good friend Lauren met her now-husband Andy. We were both there on the night they met, and Lauren asked Lydia to officiate their wedding. She, of course, graciously accepted the honor.

Lydia brought a crew of 18 women to Santa Fe, New Mexico! The girl gang visited Meow Wolf and had so much fun with some bridal boudoir sessions. It was a magical weekend, and happened just before the pandemic closed everything down.

T brought his best guy friends to Silverton for an epic backcoutry/sidecountry skiing and snowmobiling adventure weekend. By this time, the pandemic was starting to shut things down and T's crew got to enjoy the last day of skiing that Silverton had before they were forced to close for a while. The boys had a blast!

Lydia discovered a love for dancing with fire and performing fire-spinning with fans as a way to stay active and inspired during the pandemic. She choreographed a fire flow performance for Move the Butte with a dozen other fire-spinners. She continues to perform at events and weddings (when she's not photographing)!

We had an intimate wedding in Crested Butte on July 11, 2020. After a year of wedding planning, the pandemic hit and we said "F*CK IT!" and ended up having the most perfect, amazing, magical elopement with our closest friends and some family.

We had the opportunity to sell our condo in Crested Butte and buy our first house in Gunnison. We absolutely love our move, and we have been creating the most incredible garden plus pursuing other passion projects including the highly anticipated, still-under-construction mobile bar & lounge, Blue Lime Airstream.

We took our first Costa Rican Vacation together and continuously fall in love all over again. We've become pretty obsessed with surfing and absolutely love living in the jungle/right on the beach. We're now scheming how to continue spending more and more time in this tropical paradise.

Lydia's sister-cousin, Alice, and her partner Zach, asked Lydia to officiate their intimate backyard wedding! It was such an honor to co-create their ceremony. And T ended up being their photographer after their original wedding photographer bailed last-minute. He saved the day, and it was a truly magical wedding day!

We couldn't get enough! We returned to Costa Rica for even longer this time and we soaked up every minute of fresh fruit smoothies, lizard lounging in the sun, hiking through the dense rainforest, and catching waves on the ocean.

As cozy as we love to be at home, we also love to stare up at the stars from our rooftop tent under a pile of blankets! when we're not making magic with our couples, we're seeking our own adventures around the campfire or on the trails. We especially love skiing, hiking, off-roading, climbing, boating, SUPing, & gardening.

The results were amazing and we couldn't be any happier!

Grateful to have the opportunity to work with Mountain Magic Media. They did a photo shoot for a surprise engagement in Crested Butte and assisted me with the location scouting, as well as the setup for the magic moment. Lydia and T are extremely easy to work with, very communicative, and such a great couple/team. They make you feel very comfortable and natural with the photos (especially as someone who does not like taking photos). The results were amazing and we couldn’t be any happier. I highly recommend them to anyone in the greater Crested Butte area and we are very grateful!

They truly made planning a lot less stressful and were there every step of the way.

I cannot express enough how amazing Lydia and T are! From the very beginning, they were so responsive and helpful. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, they were a text away and always got back to me almost simultaneously. I wanted to propose up in Westcliffe, and without hesitation, they started helping me with research, trial selection, and everything in between. They even went to the exact spot we picked and scouted out the surrounding area and the best places to take pictures. They sent me all the pictures and information I needed to make it up there as I couldn’t get away to see it myself. After I popped the question, they were so fun and easy to work with for the posed engagement pictures. You can feel how passionate they are about what they do, and it shows in their work!
